Meaning & Intention: 

Created as an omen of what it means to be alive. It represents the fleeting nature of time and a true representation of what it means to be alive. The butterfly itself symbolizes the impermanence and fragility of life as well as its beauty. The eyes are looking for wonder and remembering the past. Butterflies have been a repeated motif in my life as a symbol of beauty, childhood and also the grief that comes with time passing. They symbolize a lot of love in my life as well as the pain and beauty of life and transformation. This piece came from a very deep place and truly means a lot to me.

Medium & Method: 

This design was hand drawn in ink on paper and then carefully digitized for printing to preserve the quality of the work. These art pieces are created to be felt and remembered.
